Cambridge International Student Film Festival
Watersprite is now in its second year. The festival aims to become a place where new filmmakers’ talents are celebrated and where they can learn about their craft from world leaders in the industry. Speakers during the festival will include Bill Nighy, Sir David Hare, and Tim Bevan, co-founder of Working Title Films. These industry leaders will be bought even closer to an incredible pool of up-and-coming talent showing at the festival through ourawards ceremony, a networking reception, talks, Q&As, panel discussions and screenings.
The festival will also offer attendees a rare glimpse into the world of Cambridge Colleges, and University life. Films will be screened in college grounds, and talks and workshops will also take place at sites of interest old and new around the city.
Entry fees are £7.
The submission deadline is 23rd January 2011, and the festival runs from 11-13th March 2011.
