David Nicholas Wilkinson is Chairman at Distrify and offers a wealth of experience, knowledge and contacts. He is also the founder of the Guerilla companies, unique in the UK entertainment industry. Since entering the industry in 1970 his hands-on experience and depth of knowledge in a range of different show business sectors is almost certainly unequalled by anyone else working in Britain today. This gives him an enviable overview across the media world. He has a proven track record in film/TV and theatre production winning many awards; cinema/DVD/VOD/airline/TV/online distribution; book publishing as well as event management. He was also an award winning actor and has starred in film/TV/theatre productions. He has produced and/or distributed almost 150 feature films. David has also acted as a consultant on over 300 feature film projects for institutional financiers, individual investors and numerous film and television production companies seeking funding. He has chaired numerous film industry panels and events, has been a jury member of film festivals around the world and frequently appears in the press, radio & TV covering many aspects of the entertainment business.

Richard brings together a rare mix of creative filmmaking and digital development skills. He has worked as an actor in a range of media from popular TV and film dramas through to multimedia and commercials. Richard’s work behind the camera spans both the film and digital arena. He is an award-winning producer of short films and has also worked as a feature producer. Working as a successful digital developer since 1998 Richard has continued his work in film and television, and ChargePlay has been an opportunity to solve some of the issues he and fellow film professionals face when distributing content.
ChargePlay provides a secure, reliable online platform for film makers and distributors to benefit from online demand for film by utilising pay-per-view technology. With operations in both the United States and the United Kingdom the company looks set to have a huge impact on the accessibility of online content.
CHRIS TIDMAN: VP GLOBAL ACQUISITIONS, SHORTS INTERNATIONAL
London-based Christopher Tidman oversees acquisitions for the Shorts International distribution catalogue and the Shorts TV channels globally.
Christopher has a strong background in short form content and factual programming with over 12 years experience in broadcasting, production management, content development, co-production financing and acquisitions, having previously worked for companies like Discovery USA, Discovery Europe and Carlton International (now ITV Studios Global Entertainment)
JAMIE KING: FOUNDER, VODO

Jamie King is a media evangelist and the founder of VODO. Vodo have had real success using BitTorrent as a legal distribution platform. Giving their content away for free has helped creators receive financial support from their audiences, potentially leading to a brand new revenue model for online content.
He directed and produced “Steal This Film”, a documentary covering the impact of file sharing and the movement against intellectual property. He also produced a number of shorts and co-directed “Dark Fibre”, his first fiction feature.
Renderyard was established six years ago by Founder and Director Mark Reid to provide a creative platform for showing experimental film and animation made by emerging filmmakers. We help to produce and distribute short films throughout the country and abroad, and have a yearly film festival held in London. Renderyard is a digital playground that gives film makers the chance to view and contact each other and provides a strong network facility for emerging new talent.
The film festival explores cutting edge animation and experimental short film making. The films that are shown have been produced by drawing inspiration from personal sources and influences that allow each contributor to project their personal reflections as new visual art forms.
OSCAR SHARP: FILMMAKER
Oscar is the founder of Therefore Films. Described by the Sunday Telegraph as “Britain’s next great filmmaker”, he’s a multi-award winning director living and working in London. His recent film ‘Sign Language’, a mockumentary rom-com, won the Virgin Media Shorts Grand Prize and the reed.co.uk short film Grand Prix, before being BIFA nominated & BAFTA shortlisted. His latest production, funded through the contest winnings and starring Olivia Colman, is now in post-production. He also trains young aspiring filmmakers.
