Rushes Soho Shorts is delighted to announce its guest programme for Out At The Movies at Hackney Picturehouse on October 11, and at the Greenwich Picturehouse on October 22.

For Hackney: Book Here   For Greenwich: Booking opens soon

Soho Shorts has always prided itself on its promotion and celebration of LGBT cinema, and here we’re pleased to expand our selection beyond that remit, to include work that depicts not only same-sex romance but films that explore the broad landscape of same-sex relationships be they friends or lovers. This variety is reflected in the range of our selections, too, from music videos such as Spiritualized’s Hey Jane to documentaries – we include 2011’s international short  Masala Mama (Singapore) – and, of course, two short film classics (also from our 2011 festival), Michael Pierce’s Rite and Hana Geissendorfer’s Hermann. We hope that you have as much fun experiencing these films as we had selecting them – they’re a truly unique bunch!
