The Reverie is a Post-Apocalyptic Fairytale. It’s about a girl at the end of the world who believes she might be the last person left alive, until she stumbles across a radio that’s broadcasting an inexplicable signal. She finds herself drawn into an unforgiving wilderness in search of the signal’s source.

From the filmmakers:
“Hello. We’re Sam Wildman and Sian Tomlinson, the director and producer of The Reverie.
This is a story we’re both deeply passionate about. We’ve already spent the best part of a year developing the film, trekking across ancient woodlands in search of locations, hunting down authentic apocalyptic props, and re-writing the script until our fingers bled and it was perfect.
We wanted to create a tale that felt distinct from the bleak visions of the apocalypse we’ve seen before. There’s a mysticism and magic to this film – it draws on theBrothers Grimm Fairytales as much as Richard Matheson’s I Am Legend or Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.
We think it’s a beautiful, heartbreaking, epic story in the making, and we won’t rest until we’ve shared it with the world. That’s why we’re here on Kickstarter, to ask you to be part of our tale. Help us get our lonely, lost heroine Amy to safety. Without your support, she’ll remain alone in the wilderness forever.”
